Internal Control
STAG Fund has a stringent internal control process. The investment decision process goes through a compliance assessment, two rounds of project evaluation, external financial and legal due diligence, and independent third-party valuation assessment. Additionally, external opinions from experts at the Portuguese Securities Market Commission's Market Committee are obtained (to ensure compliance) before making investment decisions and execution.
Track Record
Currently, there are 11 funds under management, all of which in the past have been compliant with the Golden Visa requirements; among them, 9 funds have completed fundraising, with a total fundraising amount of over €200 million

Mr. Pereira is the founder and current partner of STAG. He is also the COO of STAG in charge of Finance and Human Resources. He previously served as the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. António has a deep track record in dealing with the Portuguese Stock Market’s Regulator, from the setup of Venture Capital Funds, risk investment mitigation, identification, prevention and implementation of measures related to COI issues. In his work experiences, António acted as a qualified Lawyer specialized in Private Wealth Management and provided consultancy services for the implementation of various real estate and financial investments.

He has founded two asset management licenses (Luxembourg and Angola) and other banking licenses. He managed more than €2 billion of assets under management, covering different asset classes across some continents. He is an experienced Investment Committee member as well as coordinating and being responsible for the investment, exit and management strategies of fund portfolios. He has extensive experience dealing with transactions in different countries, across a wide range of sectors, including investments (and restructuring of assets), divestments, private and public offerings, and monitoring. He has been a guest speaker at several conferences in Luxembourg, Belgium, Angola and Portugal, and is also an opinion guest writer for an economic newspaper.
